Five POPAI AWARDS for Authentica and atta creative

At this year’s Popai Awards – the POS marketing competition - we once again celebrated success. In combination with our BTL agency atta creative, we won FIVE awards.

In the category Household Goods, Indoor Decorations and Hobby we were awarded for our exclusive project for the Czech brand Lasvit. Lasvit commissioned us to create a premium display stand for presenting the hand-blown designer glasses from their Circle Water Glass series. These glasses emerge from a simple geometric figure, namely the circle, which according to Lasvit is the ‘basic form of life’, found in the sun, cells and water. For the stand’s appearance, we opted for a lacquered glossy black surface combined with glass and a mirror, which projects the glasses forward. To underscore the beauty and simplicity of the product, the glasses float on several layers of moulded transparent plastic. The excellence of the product is also highlighted by the stand’s specially composed mirrored surface.

The prize for outstanding realization went to the Waterdrop Bubble Bottle project. In making this POS media our task was to create a captivating decoration that would explain to customers the principle behind how this key product from the Waterdrop company works. Waterdrop make an innovative microdrink enclosed in a small capsule. Drop the capsule into a glass of water and within seconds you have a microdrink full of vitamins and superfood extracts. The company also makes a range of designer bottles. Our designers came up with an illuminated transparent bottle containing an effervescent microdrink as the perfect ‘eyecatcher’ that would simultaneously feature both products. The whole decoration is lit by RGB lighting. By alternating the colour, we are able to evoke the various flavours contained in a Waterdrop capsule. 

The Waterdrop brand also featured in another award in the category Promotional Gift at the POP. The Waterdrop Gift Set, which consists of a bottle, capsules and a bamboo travel case, was designed in harmony with the brand’s philosophy of using recyclable materials and thanks to its unmistakable design, it satisfied its function as a company promotional gift superbly well.

Another golden prize-winner was our BTL agency atta creative:  

Victorious in the toy category was NERF’s Elite Table for the company Hasbro. This NERF table shooting range is used for demonstrating new NERF blasters, both at special one-off events, as well as for use as a permanent tool to support NERF’s brand visibility at selected stores, primarily at specialist players’ stores and in online showrooms. The shooting range lets customers enjoy an active game using NERF blasters as well as NERF Nitro car sets. Either independently or with the help of the merchandiser, the consumer tries out the latest product and, based on their experience, i.e. how much fun they have, decides whether to go ahead and buy.       

The Persil Pallet Display was also one of the most talked about projects and was awarded a gold trophy in turn. The idea was to support the launch of the new products Persil Premium Gel and Persil Premium Duo Caps by designing an unconventional 2-pallet display that would engage the customer and shake them out of their shopping routine.
